Throwback to Sunday September 30th 2018 where we were in Aarhus, Denmark - participating in The Distinguished Gentleman’s ride. Here, more than 300 crisp styled men & women participated in the event that raises money for prostate cancer research and suicide prevention programs.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia by Mark Hawwa. Inspired by a photo of Mad Men’s Don Draper astride a classic bike and wearing his finest suit - Mark decided a themed ride would be a great way to combat the often-negative stereotype of men on motorcycles, whilst connecting niche motorcycle communities together.

The first ride in 2012 brought together over 2,500 riders across 64 cities. This year more than 113,000 riders participated in over 650 cities.

The mandatory "group photo" which was followed by one minute of total silence. Here after "Gentlemen start your engines" was shouted out through a megaphone and the noise of 300 simultaneous starting motorcycles thundered through the streets of Århus.

On the day of the event we threw two competitions where we prized “The Gentleman of the day” and “The coolest bike”. Henrik (left) won the gentleman of the day in his English outfit and Nicholai won coolest bike with his customized Triump. Both winners received a full set of Blue de Gênes.

Our buddy, Henrik Østrup, all dressed in Blue de Gênes: Paulo Pavia Chino, Cassano Gilet, Bacco Dark Poker Shirt and our Casella Officers Blazer.

Thanks to the people behind the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in Århus. The Rider, The Racer, The Dapper, The Rocker, The Doll, The Gentleman and the Dude - "The Aros Classic Motorcycle Community".

It is not too late to give a donation!

See you again next year!
